Judy's very unique and distinct vocals are quite unlike any other singer in the music business. Those unique vocals with her newly assembled band of highly talented musicians will be creating some of the most exciting music you are likely to hear this year! Keep your ears open.

Paul De Gallier: Drums/Percussion
Paul was the drummer in Judy's Band in 2007. He has now returned and is a very welcome addition to the Judy Shire Band for 2011.
Paul's musical adventure started at the age of 11 in the school brass band. On leaving school, he worked in professional theatre in the West End of London, including contracts at the National and Barbican Theatres, which led to work within the Repertory Sector, that included seasons with the likes of Birmingham Rep, the RSC, Nottingham and Liverpool Playhouse Theatres, as well as tours and variety productions.
Paul also played percussion on a number of Theatre in Education tours, as well as work in TV and Radio Studios.
Paul has played in various bands and worked as a session musician in several major studios, which has led to working with some fine singer/songwriters, entertainers and fellow musicians. These included a Snow Patrol collaborator and musicians from the tour of The Wall by Roger Walters. He has also had the pleasure of working with a founder member of The Rolling Stones, The Bass player from the cult band Gong and an ex bass player from Bill Bruford's Earthworks Band. Paul has played on several albums by published songwriters, and in some cases been co producer. In 2007 Paul was a founding member of The Judy Shire Band and supported Judy on a tour of Castle and Stately Home Concerts.
As well as his theatre experience, as detailed above, his live experience has included major venues and festivals, playing to several thousand, down to intimate clubs and venues. He has also worked in holiday camps, on the function and tribute circuit.
Paul was chosen from an impressive pool of applicants for the position in Judy's new Band for 2011. Although some of the other applicants boasted a more colourful past. Paul's professionalism and playing ability has earned him the position in the new 2011, Judy Shire Band. Joe Green: Saxophone
Joe green is a saxophonist of 22 years of experience in the Professional Musical sector, and has for many years provided professional musical services as an experienced session musician. Joe is nephew to ex Fleetwood Mac Guitarist Peter Green and features on the Peter Green splinter group ‘Destiny Road’ CD. As well as recording for other artists and clients throughout the UK and USA Travelling throughout the whole of the UK and abroad.. As a musician, he has played with a variety of bands and artists, both at home and abroad. Recording tracks such as ‘Same Old Slide’ with his band Joe Greens Connection which was released as part of Blues International on Network Pacific Records. Joe has featured on radio for Midnight Special Blues and others. Joe is a first call session sax player very much in demand for his unique soulful style and feel and also an experienced saxophone teacher, delivering quality services to clients on every contract. Joe stood out from a fine selection of sax players that applied to Join the new 2011, Judy Shire Band. His professionalism, outstanding playing ability and likable personality made him our 1st choice, Judy and her management are honoured to have on board.
