Judy Shire is like a breath of fresh air in the Jazz world where her unique vocals, love of The Musicals,

up Judy unusual talent. A couple of day's after a concert I received a call from a lady who had gone to great lengths
to track me down. She told me that she had dragged her husband who was in his 70's with great difficulty to Judy's
concert as he hates Jazz. Since the concert all he would talk about was how fantastic Judy was, she said he was
totally hooked on Judy and was now looking into Jazz in a totally new light. This for her was wonderful as she loved Jazz
and after 48 years of marriage had finally converted him. Its not just he older person that falls under Judy's spell.
Judy recently had a young punk rocker with spiked hair who came back stage after a show to tell her how much he
enjoyed her performance.
